First grade pictures. Sarah was six when these were taken. We weren't terribly keen on the posing for the first picture, but the second one came out really cute. 
Taken just before Halloween, it was all I could do to convince Sarah she couldn't wear her costume for school portrait day. I had to "compromise" and let her wear orange and black ponytail holders. She's 7yrs old in this second grade picture. Maybe they'll take her third grade portraits BEFORE recess.....
